Nguyen Van Hien - Vice Chairman of Lam Binh District People's Committee, said the district has the largest forest coverage rate in the country, with primary forests accounting for two-thirds of the area. The forest has thousands of roots, most of which have a trunk diameter of 2 to 4 meters, with trees up to 10 people hugging. This is also the habitat of many individuals named in the red book such as black-cheeked langur, snub-nosed langur, bear..., and many other rare animals. It is known that Lam Binh District People's Committee has proposed and Tuyen Quang province is also having a policy to exploit this rare primeval forest effectively, in parallel with the task of preserving natural values. If put into operation, this will be a rare tourism "specialty", not only of Lam Binh but also of Tuyen Quang province, an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
