Ban Luoc belongs to group 5 of Na Hang town but is located in an independent position, from the town center along the ravine about 2 km and then down a long slope to reach the village. The price of melons in the market is 15,000 VND / kg, his family's melons do not need to distribute the price, customers pay 25,000 VND / kg themselves. In recent years, people in the village have also grown a lot of oranges, but when it comes to Ban Luoc oranges, they don't have to consume far, just serving the townspeople is enough.

There is a field in the center of the village that is a special highlight that is not only famous in the whole district but also many tourists from all over the world, it is the strawberry field of Ms. Giang Thi Sao. Especially because strawberry is a plant that is usually only grown in temperate climates, but when grown in Ban Luoc, it grows very well, giving very sweet and delicious fruit, everyone who eats it must be praised. The lady who owns the strawberry garden is also a pretty special person, she is a Hmong girl with a high level of education, very active, and is greatly admired by the people in the village.

Ms. Sao shared that she was born in Ban Luoc, later grew up to study at the Faculty of Pedagogy at Northwestern University, get a Master's degree and teach in Hanoi, but always dreamed of becoming a farmer. Plant the plants you like. She explained, maybe the space and plants in Ban Luoc land have been imbued in my mind since I was a child, so I always worry about one thing that I will come back here to live to grow trees as a farm. And then Ms. Sao gave up all the prosperous things in the city to return to her hometown to fulfill her dream.

Initially, Ms. Sao brought 10 strawberry roots to test in her home garden, after 3 months, she found many delicious, sweet and fragrant fruits. Since then, she decided to invest in buying seeds, plastic cover and automatic irrigation system, expanding the scale of the strawberry garden. Ms. Sao shared that at first, she also faced many difficulties when she did not know how to take care of the tree, and the tree died a lot, so she missed the season. Then, researching techniques for growing and caring for strawberries online and in strawberry growing groups, she found that strawberries are also easy to grow, easy to care for, and many times more economical than other crops. other planting. This is a plant that is not technically demanding, but it takes hard work and diligence to succeed. She revealed that a particularly important step that determines the development of strawberries is the selection of varieties. Seedlings must be healthy plants, when planted, have high disease resistance. When making the soil, you must ensure the porosity, the soil has been cleaned, the right amount of fertilizer is applied according to each stage of strawberry development... Depending on the weather, adjust the amount of watering as well as the appropriate watering time. Especially do not use chemical fertilizers to fertilize strawberries.

After 4 crops, up to now, Ms. Sao's strawberry garden has expanded to over 4,000 m2. Strawberries are harvested from January to March. When ripe, dark red fruits can be harvested, 10 to 17 kg of fruit are harvested each day. The price of fruit depends on the quality of the fruit from 200 to 350 thousand VND/kg. Ms. Sao estimates that with the existing area this year, it is possible to get nearly 2 tons of fruit, so with only 4,000 m2, the revenue can be over 400 million VND. In addition to the economic value, Ms. Sao's strawberry growing model also attracts a large number of tourists to visit and experience. Every day, tourists come to Na Hang after experiencing and visiting the lake bed, many tourists come to her strawberry garden to pick the fruit by themselves, buy fresh strawberries at the garden, take pictures with the strawberry garden. . It can be said that Sao's strawberry garden has "caused a fever" on social networks recently.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Dung, a tourist from Bac Ninh shared that she knew about the Farmstay model (a type of farm tourism) through social networks and she came here to experience it. Not only did she experience how to grow, care for, and collect strawberries, but she felt very excited because of the climate, space, and scenery here. Coming here is like letting go of worries and troubles to mingle with nature and people of Na Hang land.

Mr. Chau Van Thanh, Secretary of Party Committee 5 of Na Hang town, said that Ban Luoc has great potential for tourism development. However, that is still an untapped potential. Since Ms. Giang Thi Sao invested in the model of growing strawberries here, it has attracted many tourists and many people know about Ban Luoc. Regarding her development direction in the near future, Ms. Sao shared that she wants to set up a cooperative in the field of agriculture combined with tourism to have more households participate, and open Expanding other unique agricultural products according to the Farmstay model. The next step is to invest in planting strawberries, temperate flowers such as lavender on Khau Tinh land, because she finds the climate there is very suitable.
