Mr. Sung Van Ky, Chairman of Sinh Long Commune People's Committee, said that Sinh Long commune currently has 367 households growing Shan Tuyet tea, with an area of ​​​​nearly 1,000 hectares. Currently, Shan Tuyet tea is the main crop of the locality and has helped many households improve their income and stabilize their lives.

Realizing the value and potential of Shan Tuyet tea area here, many businesses and cooperatives have made connections, consumed products, and built Shan Tuyet tea brands. Son Tra cooperative, Hong Thai commune, Na Hang district is a typical example. In 2019, Son Tra Cooperative purchased raw tea from members of the cooperative and people to process and sell nearly 10 tons of finished tea to the market, with a turnover of more than VND 2 billion. In 2020, Son Tra Cooperative strives to sell to the market 12 to 15 tons of finished Shan Tuyet tea, with a turnover of 4 to 5 billion VND.

The effect of Shan Tuyet tea has confirmed the right direction in economic restructuring of Na Hang district. Shan Tuyet tea trees not only help to green the bare land, prevent natural disasters, but also play an important role in the poverty reduction program to improve the living standards of mountainous households and ethnic minorities in Vietnam. district. Currently, the district is encouraging communes with suitable soil and climate conditions to expand their areas with Shan Tuyet tea varieties, as well as build brands for communes with large tea areas.
