Tan Trao Highlights
This year, the province chose to open the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year at Flamingo Tan Trao. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan, Deputy General Director of Flamingo Group, affirmed: “The Group is coordinating to implement many of the best solutions so that the opening ceremony of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025 will be successful and attractive. Exactly 1 year ago, the Group held a ceremony to launch the Tan Trao Destination Center. This is an important project of the Flamingo Heritage Tan Trao 5-star Heritage City Project, showing that we are qualified to organize large-scale events. The activities and events at the center are oriented to honor the cultural identity of Tuyen Quang in particular and neighboring provinces in the region in general. From this vision, Flamingo Holdings focuses on creating a journey to experience indigenous culture, in order to create excitement for exploration for tourists of all ages”.
Flamingo Tan Trao was chosen as the venue to host the opening ceremony of Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2025.
According to Mr. Hoan, in October 2022, the Group will start building the Tan Trao Cultural Tourism Village Project and promote the special national historical value with a scale of nearly 25 hectares, a total investment of 663 billion VND, with works including shophouses and homestays. The Flamingo Tan Trao project, when completed and put into operation, is expected to have about 2,000 guest rooms, attracting tourists to Tuyen Quang throughout the 4 seasons. Up to now, the main project items have been basically completed. On the occasion of the opening of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tourism Year in 2025, the Group plans to open the Flamingo Heritage Onsen Hotel & Resort, along with many other interesting experiences.
During the tourism year in Tan Trao commune, there are many activities coordinated by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Provincial Tourism Management Board, Son Duong district, including paragliding over the heritage site. Mr. Do Trung Kien, Head of the Provincial Tourism Management Board, said: "Returning to the source tourism in Tan Trao is an important highlight. Recently, the Management Board has proactively and actively built many new tourism products to diversify services and attract tourists, such as: swimming and listening to Then singing on Na Nua Lake, participating in the "Heritage Road in the middle of the forest" tour, visiting heritage banyan trees, heritage banyan trees, primeval bamboo forests, primeval tau forests on Hong Mountain. Tourists can also soak medicinal leaves, experience the traditional wedding of the Tay ethnic group, compete in catching fish in the fields with bamboo baskets, enjoy local cuisine, and check-in at Vinh Tan tea hill. All the series of events, products, and tourism services intertwine between tradition and modernity, between old and new, especially at this time when the whole country and the province are focusing on celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Tan Trao National Congress, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, and National Day September 2, which is truly meaningful.
Many activities in response
Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025 in Tuyen Quang city took place such as DJ music performance night, paragliding at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Tuyen Quang city, organizing the Tuyen Quang Trade and Tourism Connection Conference in 2025 with about 100 domestic and foreign tourism delegates.
The Provincial Investment Promotion Center was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the exhibition and introduction of tourism products and craft villages of Tuyen Quang 2025 taking place from April 24 to April 30, 2025 on Chien Thang Song Lo Street, Tan Quang Ward and Nguyen Van Cu Street, Minh Xuan Ward (Tuyen Quang City). According to the Center, the scale of over 100 booths displaying and introducing tourism products and craft villages of Tuyen Quang province and other provinces and cities nationwide. Participating in this activity are enterprises, units of all economic sectors and organizations promoting investment, trade, and tourism in Vietnam; People's Committees of districts and cities in the province; associations, industries and craft villages in and outside the province. Many tourism enterprises and craft villages in and outside the province said that they are looking forward to the day they can come to Tuyen Quang city to participate in the activities of Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2025.
In Na Hang district, the Provincial Tourism Management Board presided over and coordinated with the People's Committees of Na Hang district; Lam Binh; and related units to organize the announcement and launch of the tourism product "Journey of Discovery" at Na Hang - Lam Binh Eco-tourism Area. Opening the "Journey of Discovery" Co Yeng - Ban Bung - Thanh Tuong tourist route; visiting the thousand-year-old nghien population; checking in the Nghien tree - a Vietnamese heritage; visiting the ancient tea forest; mysterious red stone stream; exploring Bo Kim cave; experiencing agricultural tourism; experience the unique cuisine of the Red Dao people...
Chiem Hoa district will host the Tuyen Quang Province Ethnic Women's Football Tournament from April 11 to April 15, 2025. The tournament promises to have many beautiful, exciting, fierce and dramatic matches. In addition, Tuyen Quang city will also organize the Tuyen Quang Province Club Tennis Tournament, taking place from April 24 to April 27, 2025.
Welcoming the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025, districts and cities in the province will have tourism, cultural and artistic activities to respond to create an exciting and vibrant atmosphere, connecting the series of events, creating a diverse, attractive and unique tourism picture of Tuyen Quang.
Comrade Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the Department is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee on the content of activities and conditions for organizing the opening activities of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2025. The Department has actively urged units to implement to ensure quality and efficiency requirements. At the same time, select and coordinate with event units to develop scripts and organize art programs; design mockups, decorate stage ceremonies, ensure sound and lighting for the opening program to take place with the highest quality.
