August is the time when people in Hong Thai commune (Na Hang) are busy picking ripe pears. This is a type of crop that is quite suitable for local weather conditions, giving ripe, sweet and juicy fruits. On average, each pear tree gives an income of 3 to 4 million VND/crop, which is 1.5 times higher than other crops on the same area.

The whole Hong Thai commune currently has 106 hectares of pears, of which 20 hectares have been harvested, with an output of over 100 tons.
