Every year on the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, Tuyen Quang city organizes a boat racing festival on the Lo River. There are 13 teams in 13 communes and wards of Tuyen Quang city participating, each team has 30 athletes, including 4 reserve athletes. The process of the competition is that each racing team has to go through a race on the Lo River, from the old Nong Tien ferry to soi Tinh Huc and back with a length of about 3 km.
