Trung Quang Pagoda is located on the territory of Group 2, Minh Xuan ward (Tuyen Quang town). The pagoda has an area of ​​​​nearly 1,000m2, located on a high, wide and open land, the land is good according to the feng shui theory "before the dawn, right after the occipital".

The temple door faces southeast. According to folk beliefs, the south direction corresponds to red, the color of vitality. Vietnamese people associate the color red with the gods, with the wish that the gods give blessings. In Buddhism, the south direction is the direction of chastity (high wisdom), thanks to high wisdom to destroy ignorance which is the seed of evil. Therefore, Trung Quang Pagoda facing south is towards good.

The pagoda takes the meandering Lo River as the front of the road, the high mountain range of Trang Da as a screen, behind the mountain Co as the rear occipital, all creating a land of "dragon scrolls, tigers huddle". In the land of the earth spirit, the mountain, the water, and the charming scenery, the pagoda has been honored with an elegant and ethereal beauty associated with the natural scenery of the Creator and human hands.

The beauty of the temple is also hidden in the Buddha statues with many different designs, which are the products of 19th century sculpture. In the past, the pagoda had a rather large scale of construction and architecture, experiencing many changes in history, the temple has undergone many restorations and repairs as it is today. Originally, the pagoda was built according to the style of the Nguyen Dynasty. In front is the three-door gate, including the air, the neutral, and the fake. According to the philosophy of Buddhism, the three views are three ways of looking, three things to see, and three things to kill to enter the Buddha realm. The left pavilion of the front hall is the place to worship the statue of Monsignor, the right compartment worships the Holy Sangha, the two sides of the middle of the front hall form a nail cure, in the middle of the upper hall are the three jewels in the heart of the Buddha hall; In front of the three treasures is the incense burning hall where the monks, chanting and reciting Buddhist scriptures.

Trung Quang Pagoda currently preserves many traditional folk cultural activities, preserving many relics and artifacts to help scientists study history, culture, architectural styles and art. Currently, in the temple, there are still 4 ancient statues, and 2 large bronze bells. In the temple grounds, there is still a longan tree nearly 100 years old. The pagoda faces the Lo River, and is located in a pure land, for people going to the temple to worship Buddha is to come to the spiritual realm, but there is a meeting point to connect the community, helping people put aside all worries. the hard work of everyday life, enjoy the moments of leisure, thereby directing people to truth, goodness and beauty. Therefore, Trung Quang Pagoda is also an attractive tourist attraction in Tuyen Quang town.

With the significance of science, culture, art and architecture of the temple, on November 19, 2007, the Provincial People's Committee ranked Trung Quang pagoda relic as a provincial art and architecture relic.
